How I Accumulated 20,000+ views with 34 Subscribers on YouTube(As a small Art Creator)


Dear Artist, I also fell for the myth that you need a huge following to gain a level of visibility on the social media space. (YouTube,for the purpose of this post) Well,I found through experience over a period of time with practical experience as shown in the picture below that the claim of small creators not having any views on their post was incorrect.

Now, as you would know, nothing comes easy and the accumulation of these views didn't come overnight. I mean, who wants something big and doesn't want to put in the time to make it work? In a nutshell it takes work and consistency because before I achieved this,I had some doubts and consistency issues that made me leave the channel dormant for a while as shown below,till I decided to change that and take the page growth to the next level one day at a time, and it worked hence the reason for the existence of this post.

Without any further waste of time here are the Five (5) ways  I accumulated 20,000+ views with Just 34 subscribers on YouTube 

1.Having a Youtube channel: 
Well, this might sound funny, but if I did not have a YouTube channel, there would be no way for me to gain visibility on the platform,so I opened a YouTube channel, trust me opening a YouTube channel and understanding how to post a video was one of the hardest parts. But that story  that will be for another day.
2. Centering my content around a general idea: 
My first couple of videos had multiple interests which confused the algorithm as to where to channel my videos to, moving on I figured this out and narrowed the topics I spoke or created content on(Which is art or art related content, as I am an artist). On doing this and posting with consistency, the algorithm pushed out my videos more to the relevant audience.
3.Posting multiple times: 
I learnt that posting multiple videos increases your chance of one video going further than the rest,so when ever I post,I post an average of 2 to 4 videos at a time, which increased my views at a fast rate instead on being upset as to why the 1 video I posted didn't go far.
4. Leveraging the Compounding effect:
I leveraged the Compounding effect by posting several amounts of video at a short amount of time, I didn't underestimate the power of volume, because volume is key to test and see what works and what doesn't work
5. Education and Consistency: This was one of the bed rocks to the amount of views I got. I stayed up to date on the way the platform works. For the consistency aspect, I just showed up as frequently as I could and put in the work, creating 100+ videos.

In Conclusion I would say if you have not started out on this journey,this is a sign that you should.
