🟣Artists and Public Speaking

Sadly the Art profession has been streamlined by default not to partake in certain activities that professionals from other fields partake in and it is now seen as normal, and one of these activities is public speaking.

Sincerely, the fear of public speaking has been ranked higher than the fear of death which is very disappointing to hear, but nevertheless, Thousands of professionals, partake in public speaking daily and the art profession should not be an exception.

One might ask, why do creative people need to partake in public speaking if all they do is draw and paint, well, that's where you get it all wrong because frstly, the art practice has since gone beyond just painting and drawing, definitely every artist needs to know how to draw and paint  as it serves as the  basis of most careers related to creating Visual arts. secindly, something fuels the ability to create art which is a healthy combination of knowledge, skill, discipline and most importantly creativity.

Aside the word 'Love', Creativity is another really misunderstood word that most people have now taken as creating a work of art, well, it's far more than that. Creativity and art in itself  is a really broad concept that delves into cognitive development, unconventional mince of problem solving, therapy, and lots more. These abilities cuts into most areas of life business and more, which artists can speak on to impact and educate professionals from other fields of study and endeavours for upward movement of their quality of living and the upward movement of their endeavours in general.

I urge artists to see themselves as the true  professional that they are,and see ways to impact their society with other potentials they possess aside visual representation or creating art.
